SILEX MICROSYSTEMS has extensive knowledge of process and production technology, and process technology comprises MEMS construction, adaptation of the chip’s design and the manufacturing process. This knowledge is key to our ability to serve customers and to cost efficiently manufacturing high quality MEMS in large volumes.

The MEMS productions is housed in a 25,00 sq ft plant outside Stockholm in Sweden with 12,000 sq ft clean room area holding the 6-inch wafer automatic equipments and another 10,000 sq ft for the new 8-inch wafer fab. With the fully equipped new 8-inch line, the whole manufacturing plant is estimated to have a capacity equivalent to 250,000 6-inch wafers. To satisfy the increased production requirements of existing and new customers, we assure continuing investments in capacity for high-volume MEMS manufacturing.
